For an MPA chassis, is there any special bedding or bonding that smiths do when they assemble a barreled action into the chassis? Or is it as simple as bolting it together and rolling?

Check action for stress when torqued into chassis. If theres none, theres no need. Chassis like aics and manners gen1 mini chassis really benefit from bedding the tang. They are not supported at or behind rear bolt. Ehen rear bolt is torqued to 15in/lbs or more, it preloads the action with some serious stress. May not hurt accuracy noticeably, but I bet you'll see some flyers, 3&2 groups, and return to poa will not be good when barreled action is pulled out of chassis.
