Friends,

I've had no luck trying to find some (4x) low power pictures of the NF ATACR 4-16 F1 (MIL-R or MOAR) at low power and illuminated. The low power picture of this reticle is important to me as I'd like to use it for predator / hog hunting and will likely use 4x or 6x in low light. for faster shots.

Also, I want to keep the 16x capability for time at the range so the LPVO scopes are not ideal.

Here's what I found but not much else.

Can anyone provide a link or some pics of the 4-16 F1 MOAR or MIL-R reticle at low power with illumination on a "field" type background?

Thanks!

This is about 15 minutes after sunset with the optic on 8X. The barn is at 330-ish yards, the mower probably about 300.

Not yet dark. 1810 mountain time with lots if snow so still kinda bright out considering.

4x at 60 yards into a dark hole in a tree. Then same pic with illumination. The illumination is really good on the NF.

Here is a ZP5 on 4x 10 minutes later. MR2 reticle. Probably my favorite for the thick 4 lines on 3x in the timber. I did both scopes on 4x but the ZP5 does go to 3. The FOV on the ZP5 is amazing. You can see the difference in the pics vs the NF. But the NF illumination is better. Trade offs I guess.

No it's not daylight bright but one of the best ones out there. I've found the Mil-r to be brighter looking then the milc. These are not meant to be daylight bright.

Not trying to hijack your post, but I’m in a similar situation looking at 4-16 ATACR as a hunting scope where low light performance and illumination is important. Wondering if anyone has experience with the Steiner P4-16x56? It’s got and illuminated SCR reticle which I like and pretty reasonable price on optics planet.

I have no experience with that exact Steiner scope, but judging by the price and other Steiners I have messed with it is a lower tier of optic to the ATACR.
