11 people that normally work from home.... They come in once a week to enter forms into their computer system. Thats one of the main reasons they are so slow.
I have 2 ladies in my office that do 100's of invoices and PO's a day. They work from 8-5 and do work. I wish the ATF would get the same mentality when it comes to saying their employees need to work from the office they are paid by.
Just my two cents. </div></div>
I doubt that working from home is why they're slow, if that's even true.
Background investigations take work. If you want to get on with Border Patrol for instance, it'll take months for the background to come back, and that's handled by contractors who get paid per background.

Majority of class 3 purchases are done on trust nowadays. Trusts dont take background checks.
Working home with no government computer system, approving 50 forms a day.... well times 4 days - that would be like 200 forms to enter on a friday. Thats a lot of work in a short time. They are backed up for a reason.....
