Atlas bipod cross brace

I was watching a PRS match vid and took note of a shooter with some sort of cross brace on his Atlas. The brace allowed it to sit right on the rail platform he was shooting on. Pretty slick. Is this a one off mod or does anyone know what it is?

That’s probably something he just made. I’m not sure that would be as stable as just a bag.

Other shooters used a bag but his contraption allowed extra height. I guess it works for him.

Yeah, looks like an AR multiwrench twist tied to the legs of his bipod. For sure it's homemade and you wouldn't want to keep it on your bipod since the legs move independent of each other. Personally, I would have shot that off a bag. Looks like a lot could go wrong.
