LoneWolfUSMC ,

I have the same configuration ( only replace the V7 because it collapsed under the recoil & weight of the AWM ) and it is GTG for tracking , I used it extensively in open terrain .

PP out

Glad to hear they are shipping out now, I have had my V8 sitting here for about 3+ weeks now, just waiting on that spigot to make it's way to the West Coast.

Re: Atlas with AI spigot

LoneWolfUSMC, The Atlas has 15 degrees left and 15 degrees right of Pan, so in theory no matter where along the long axis of the rifle it is placed, that +/-15 degrees will remain a constant. I think the issue is stability and degree of expected accuracy. The further out front, the more stable the more accuracy can be expected, but due to the axis being biased towards the muzzle end, the butt will make a wider arc meaning changing your body position. By moving the axis back, towards the butt you still have the +/-15 degree arc, but can use more of it from the same body position but it is less stable. And I'm talking about the extreme swing, lock to lock in both cases.

We have professionals that are mixing metal and meat, not dotting the "i", that are using the BT28 rail under the AI with great success.

We are shipping a ton of the 19's out in the next 48 hours, and the V2 spigots as well, so thank you for your patience and if you have any questions about your, email me at [email protected]

Thanks for your support and patience.

Re: Atlas with AI spigot

Sorry, meant to do it but the gun is in the car waiting to go to the range. I'll get one up here tomorrow if no one else has by then.

Re: Atlas with AI spigot

Thanks Kasey.

You touched on what I was worried about with the bipod being too far forward. On ELR platforms it's a great idea for stability. On close range platforms, shifting the body to engage at the extreme left and right can be a concern since it takes time and allows recoil to disturb the platform to a greater degree.

It's just going to be a matter of getting it on the gun and giving it a go.
