So I have a chance at a pretty good deal on what i think is an ATN pvs-14 and want to run it behind a Sig Romeo 5 for a backup night time hog setup. I’m running a Flir thermal on my primary. Decent setup for A backup? What would you say it’s worth in good shape with no blend? I know atn doesn’t have the best rep, but I’ve had one in the past and didn’t have issues

Gen 3 atn pvs14 is the only nv I have currently, and I took the advice of some others here and just mount it to my head with an ir laser on the rifle.
Gives you a way to walk in the dark, as well as shoot using the same rifle if the battery dies in the thermal just flip on ir laser. Some of them are tiny little things you will forget are even on the rifle until you want to use it.
I've seen the prices on them run a wide range depending where you find it and shape. 2k seems to be a routine asking price, I have seen excellent ones get sold for 1,200-1,500 though.

This one is 1200. I’m didn’t pull the trigger on the deal as ATN’s reputation and customer service are sub par. I have had an ATN Clio on in the past that I liked, but honestly didn’t do the homework on the company last time...
