Attaching pic rail to the bottom of AX stock toe

I'm wondering if anybody had success in figuring out how to attach a small piccatiny rail segment to the bottom of AX stock's toe to allow use of a rail based monopod (ala PRS stock).

You use the shorter (3.15"/80mm) AIAX pic rail segment, it attaches the same way it does to the handguard tube. Like so:

Thanks for the info, but I am wondering if there is any way to attach the pic rail to the bottom most part - the one where you have AX spike - I presume?
