Rifle Scopes Attention Vortex!!!!

Vortex,

Please start swapping reticles again. You have better reticles now. I understand you dont want it to cut into new sales but it's also part of keeping the customers you already have.

In my case I would love to have them swapped so I can use scopes that I currently have sitting but dont use due to the reticles, and continue to buy new ones from you that are the same.Then I can sell the other brands off used. If I have to buy new scopes to get what i want it might not be Vortex. I like to have them all the same. I would be looking at having more than 5 swapped! Plus more scopes to put on other rifles.

It would be cool if they do this again. I really like the newer ebr-7c in the razor 2s, but got a screaming deal on a pst2 with the 2d that I couldn't pass up. I would absolutely send it in to get swapped if I could.

Hey Vortex, make an AMG and a razor with a .05 mil thick reticle. I would pay to swap out these thin reticles in a heartbeat. I severely dislike the trend of hair thin reticles on a tactical scope. Im not shooting F class, I am shooting practical sized targets out to distance and would prefer a reticle that makes it much easier to pick up quickly and be useable down at 10x and below in most lighting conditions.

They still need a decent reticle design IMHO. I had an AMG with the EBR-7 for awhile and loved the scope, but hated the reticle. Way too busy around the target.

Mil-C, SKMR3, MR4, even the Delta Stryker LRD-1T are all much, much better reticles that have similar features without clouding the target with unnecessary lines. If they came up with that, then I agree they should start swapping. Until then, their lack of a good modern reticle has kept me from being a customer personally.

I was against the tiny dots on the new reticles, not just Vortex but all new reticles it seems, but i have learned to deal with it since it is relarely used. I still prefer plain old crosshairs. I do like some of the others you mentioned better, at least on paper since I havent shot with them yet

So it sounds like your saying you hold for any distance past 100, but then it sounds like you hate hold over reticles and prefer just a plain old cross hair where you would need to dial past 100.......LOL

I am meaning holding wind past 100yds. When I refered to plain crosshairs, I was talking about the center aiming point. I prefer crosshair centers or open centers. In reality i only use the center aiming point to zero so while I have my preference it really isnt a big deal one way or another.

I did see how my other post could be misinterpreted. Lol.
