Wait, what?

There is going to be a Million Muslim march here in the US on Sept 11.

Can that be true?

'Million Muslim March' Planned On 9/11 Anniversary Prompts Conservative Freakout

Million Muslim March on 9/11/13 Tickets, Washington - Eventbrite

We need to be respectful of all peoples they say, yet they want to hold an event on the anniversary date were muslims crashed planes into the World Trade Center in NY killing 3000 Americans, thus starting the war on terrorism over the last 12 years. Wow, they are not being respectful at all of our feelings are they?

It seems we are more messed up than Australia.

Australia will get what is coming to them. They purposely decided to try to push for as much "multi-cultural" immigration as possible & didn't want any more whites immigrating over. So well they can enjoy their socialist, carbon god worshiping, free speech hating government and see where it leads them. Once the Chinese don't need any more raw materials......

I thought no political discussions were allowed. I wasn't under an impression only "official party line" politics is allowed?

Were not discussing politics. This is a current events discussion.

I could be permanently banned in about 2 sentences...

In thinking about this further I'm not sure if this constitutes political commentary. Perhaps it's more ideological.

This could be some sort of trick meant to insight. If thats the case then oh so fucking funny, haha.

Othewise if it's for real then they can suck a hard banana.

Just pointing out what appears to be double standards as several other threads were either locked or people banned for posting similar "current events" posts and starting discussions.

But i guess as long as you attack those who are currently in official crosshairs all is well but if you start discussing real problems we face and real causes (who the f... you think allows all those in...) of those problems you quickly find yourself "too political for this forum".

PS: Bananas are full of calcium so thanks for taking care of my health much appreciated...

If it's political it would be about how political correctness has run amuck. Also, I think it's unfair and incentive to use political correctness to hold an event that is so painful to many Americans on the anniversary date of such a tragic event in our American history.

As an observation, I've noticed people like to complain about political correctness preventing people from saying what they mean or telling the truth because it's not socially acceptable or will hurt someone's feelings. I can understand that, but it cracks me up when so many of those people resort to the same populist attitude when confronted about their ignorance on subjects they think they know. For me personally, this is painfully obvious on gun forums whenever a scientific issue is brought up, with droves of people basically saying "my clueless emotions are more important than your empirical data!"

So, be self-aware is all I'm saying.

Bet me, IF, they march, that somehow there will be deaths and the blame will fall to you and I, the infidels.

Sir,I agree that teaching the political correctness as good behaviour's form can be really a good way to spare a bunch of harsh debate and/or fight, and that no one among al us can and never will be informed about the real "motors" behind the worldwide changing, let alone understand it, BUT :
The clueless emotions are quite fast to emerge when the average man is directly/personally confronted with his own immediate experience about the side effects of those changements : often the political correctness become quite prone to evaporate_ Being clear that all the sociopolitical choices are backed from the immediate interest of men or groups of men enforcing those choices, the average man realizes only to be the victim or the guinea pig of those choices, awakening himself from the illusion of having voted about something and/or losing his good behaviour of above, more even if/when his own income and quality of life would immediately suffer, by any mean, by the effects, collateral or less, of the events above_ I hope to having expressed my point of wiew with the minimum of the required politeness, if not with the adequate grammar control, of an average man_
My sincerest respects_
(as ever, since the fall of the Roman Empire included, follow the Money or, even better : "CUI PRODEST ?")

I'm not racist! I'm a physician and in forty years have treated excons, murders, rapists etc. I respect all people, regardless of their past, until they give a reason not too. When a whole religion wants to threaten my values and way of life, it's just not right to slink away and hide. In the coming years, we're going to be in a fight for our lives. If you don't agree, I'm which planet you've been on the last 20-30 years. It's not all Muslims, but only a small percentage of radicals. like the skinhead right wing radicals.

So is ***bleeep bleeeep**** [censored and copied to nearest NSA storage facility for further analysis] but speaking ***bleeep bleeeep*** will get you banned and worse :) while other is praised.

It's all contextual.

Can you please explain what is "political" about that video? I did not hear anything about a political party or ideology. Now if you want to cite a religious issue, that would be understandable as religion is mentioned however there is no mention of politics.

NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden: 'I don't want to live in a society that does these sort of things' - YouTube

So if i get this correctly (because i though Lowlight was pretty clear on this being a rifle only forum but i possibly misunderstood) this above video is allright to post as long as no comments are given in regards to political situation either in US or global scale. Also discussing events in without commentary which could be understood as dissent are ok. If we talk about UN trying to backdoor new/old agreements would also be OK as long as we keep it "not immediately interesting of security forces of US" by speaking too candidly.

Since many people were banned and there was bad blood because of it and i believe i understood rules pretty clearly (as in NO politics in the way it could be understood as politics period - which this video clearly does -> if i post video of US arming muslim rebels in Syria would that be political or discuss things about Benghazi etc???) i'd really like an explanation of what is or what is not tolerable by the owner of the site.

I made the original post in this thread. There was no political intent. Muslim extremists are intent on taking over the world regardless of any parties immigration policies. I thought that raising the issue via the slightly humorous video fitted best in this particular section of The Hide.

What is tolerable by this site is what the Admin and Moderators deem is tolerable. If you feel there is a double standard too bad. WE will determine what is worth removing and/or banning an indiviudal. If you have a question about content you feel is inappropriate, don't post it. If you see content you feel is inappropriate there is a notify button you may use. WE at that point will decide if it is acceptable (not you) and will take action accordingly.

Is that clear?
