Auto Throw/Trickler Help

Hello,

I've noticed that the pressing Mode on my FX-120i does not Stop the unit from trickling. Also, if I press Mode and enter a new charge weight, then press Print, it does not save that weight. Any ideas?

I have noticed that if the scale isnt stable (the weight just shifted up or down .02) that pressing print wont register. Press it again once its settled and its good and will flash that its recognized.


You have the cables plugged into the proper side?

Im guessing your cables are crossed or you need to go through the trickler programming again for grains and grams.

Im guessing your cables are crossed or you need to go through the trickler programming again.

I think you are correct about going through the programming again. I just realized that would be the fastest method. Thanks for your post!!

I hope you don't mind me jumping in here. I just got my scale, auto throw, and trickler set up. Is it normal for the trickler to start before the auto throw? Mine will trickle a bit, pause the trickler while the auto throw dumps, then continue to trickle up to the target weight. It works great, I just wasn't expecting the trickler to do anything until after the auto throw.

My trickler runs a blip at the same time the throw dumps, it pauses once the throw is complete to see how much weight it has and then it will start back up again, so yes, it is a bit of a stutter start.
The pause and weigh is because if you are weighing more than the throw can do in one pass it can actually throw twice instead of trickling 40 gr of powder for large magnums. Need 90 gr of powder? Set your throw for 44gr, so it will throw 2 44 gr loads and then only have to trickle the remaining 2 grains.
