Awsome warranty by Savage

as some of you may have read about the nipple i was getting on my brass shoulder caused by the small divot in chamber of my savage 110ba 338 lapua. well savage did just what i wanted with out any crap at all. they paid for my rifle to get shipped to them. then this past tuesday the 4th they told me that they were almost done with the new barrel. said just finishing up the fluts being cut, then the put it on and test fire, make sure all is good and get it back to me. there was no hasel at all, actually they were almost done the 1st time i called. just said it was a faulty chamber from factory and thats it. for me this says alot about savage and now i can keep loving ther products. if it was acurate before, im realy ready to get it warmed up with perfect true serface for headspace and effeciant preasure.

Glad they got you fixed up and did the right thing. Now maybe they can help you with your grammar skills because all I can say is holy shit man!

Glad to here you are back in the game LD. Let us know when you take her down range for the first time with the new tube.

Really good to hear how Savage responded. I have the 110 BA in .338LM and love the gun. So far I have not had any problems and hope I never do. But it is good to know that they stand behind their products.

For the money, I do not think anyone beats Savage's accuracy. Great customer service is just icing on the cake.

I had a similar experience with Savage's customer service, very positive, outstanding service. I had issues with my 10BA's adjustable cheek rest on the crappy A4 type stock. It would fall off during recoil, but I couldn't find anything wrong with it. They offered to replace the part,I told them I wanted the Magpul stock. 3 days later a box showed up with the stock and the adapter to mount it. Since that day(1/11) I bought another Savage (12BR 6.5x284) because the service was first class with my issue. Glad to hear they're taking care of you, regards Slip.

Must be the cost difference between a .338 and my 22lrTR? They acted like they did not care about my receiver issues and told me to pay shipping to them and they would just send it back COD. Good for you, I will not buy a savage again. Thankfully mine was a $350 rifle.
