Are these stocks any good? I found one at a great price but I have an ADL rifle. How hard is it to find the BDL floorplate. It is for a light hunting rifle only to replace an already accurate rifle with a tupperware stock. Thanks guys

A definite improvement over tupperware and bdl metal is easy to come by. Kiff metal is a good deal and an improvment over the Rem bdl stuff. You'll need a new mag box too.

Reckon those stocks will even fit an ADL contour barrel? I was thinking the ADL and BDL barrel contour was the same.

Contour would be the same either way as long as the calibers are same or at least similar.

All magnum sporter contours should be the same, 7mmRM, 300WM, 338WM, etc

I think that they are a great upgrade over about any factory remington stock ever produced, unless you somehow ended up with a custom shop adl that has a aftermarket stock already on it. These are actually used on some of the so called Custom "custom shop" rifles. I too say get it if the price is right. Add the PTG bottom metal, put a wtb ad on here for a mag box and spring, skim bed the action to the new stock and enjoy it. I am currently saving up for a similar stock to put a la win 70 in for a all purpose beater/loaner hunting rifle build. I dont know what type of deal you are getting but I have found them in stock for about 215 Good Luck
