I can't seem to find an answer to these questions comparing the A2 and A3:
Is one of the combs higher than the other?

Is one heavier than the other?

How much does each weigh?

If you are talking about the tactical medalist. The A2 is standard and the A3 has a butthook.

tacticalworks.com states that the light tactical with the butt hook weights about 3.3 lbs. and that the other weighs in at 3.9 lbs. I am not sure how reliable this site is, but that is what it says. Im looknig to pull the trigger on one of these as well.

The A-2 is a little heavier. It has a more vertical grip and the fore end is square.

The comb on the A2 is higher than the A3 by about a 1/2" or so.

The A2 is also heavier but not by a huge chunk. Stockys list the A2 at 3lbs and I saw the A3 listed at 2lbs 9ozs somewhere.

I have/had both and the weight between the two wasn't very noticeable. The bulk of the A2 was though.
