So after cleaning and putting this thing back together, I function test it and sadly discover that I need to pull the trigger twice to get the old familiar "click". Feels real gritty too. Round count is at 824. So I make the call to Ruger and actually spoke with a gentleman who was brief and to the point. I can go to the range and see if it corrects itself, or send it in with a turn time of about 17 business days. It's goin' back to the shop. Gotta check my e-mail for a shipping label. Anyone else ever run into such a problem with this platform? I don't think I ever heard bad things about Ruger. Their stuff has always been solid. I hope the customer service is top notch as this pistol is only 4 months old. That's my gossip for the day. I'll keep members posted on how this progresses. Good luck and good shooting!

If you put it back together incorrectly that can happen. Ruger generally fixes it free the first time, but they'll tell you that repeated owner errors will be billed. I think there is a video on line that can guide you through it. Gets easier each time.
