Wanted to mention first range outing with the BAD VERT stock.

100% brass case reliability. Tula a no go. Guns key aspects are it's a mk18 upper, sharps carrier.

Opening it one handed takes practice. I wish it had a ball relief to allow opening with a hard tug.

    Comfortable to shoot for me.

Major or downside is double the charging handle force from a JP SCS. Harder to operate gun a little and charging handle wear will be going up.

Does not work work with extended takedown pins.

I've built several, all with 100% reliability. I have rather long arms but I can make it work for me with no problems. I admit to being surprised with how much I like the system. The visual impact of the system is like nothing else.

My own 6.5" .300 BLK has gone several hundred rounds with never a single cleaning and zero malfunctions.

The two-step spring tension associated with the BAD designed buffer is a little different but easily accommodated with a little exposure. But I need two hands to deploy the stock.
