Re: Baddest A** Scope Rings?
My experience ranks these brands:
1- Seekins. Excellent strength, fit/finish, reliability, value, and company support. The only thing missing from their offerings is a canted one-piece mount.
2- Spuhr. Same as above, except value (subjective), and if you do not follow the mounting instructions exactly (i.e. use of Brownell's Rosin and blue Loctite neither were required for my Seekins rings), your scope can slip in the rings. Ask me how I know! I will say that Spuhr has the best and most versatile one-piece mount I know of.
3- Leupold Mark IV. Good strength, but really does not feel as solid as the first two. Will get the job done for most, but is not on the same level as Seekins or Spuhr.
