Badger DBM Question

I have Badger Ordnance M5's for both my 308 and 300WM. On the 308, I can cycle the bolt with the magazine inserted and no rounds. If I try this with the 300WM the follower acts like a "bolt hold open" and I cannot cycle the bolt to single load rounds or dry fire.

Anyone else have this problem? Any fixes?

Thanks.

Thats good advice right there !!

How does it cycle with rounds in the mag? The bottom metal may be seated too high in relation to the action.

Would you take it in trade for a Glock?

Cycles fine with rounds, I was assuming it is seated too high too but thought the pillars would ensure it is correct.

Re: Badger DBM Question

The AW mags have a bolt stop built in if I remember right, so in the heat of combat and such you don't slam a bolt home on an empty chamber and go click.

You can dremel that sharp stop down to an angle most likely and that will let the bolt push the follower down on the way by.

Or you can sell it.
