I would like to add a Badger Ordnance bolt knob to my Remington 700 .300 WM (and also the same in 0.223). Atop each I have a NXS with their own "cattail". Anyone have this setup, I am wondering of the Badger knob will hit the cattail or clear it. The larger one they sell to retrofit older scopes not the newer PTL. My Remingtons are left handed if that makes any kind of a difference.

Not sure if it’s a left bolt issue but I’ve never been able to make a throw-lever/cat-tail work for me on my lefty bolt guns. Things always seem to get in the way of the bolt for me. If the lever is indexable you may be able to get it to work the way you want but depends on the scope particulars.
