A local guy on another forum was having issues zeroing his Savage FCPK rifle with a Vortex Viper 6-24x scope. He claims he ordered and installed a Badger Ordnance 20 MOA base, but all the symptoms he described indicated the scope mount base had much more downward cant because he was running into the mechanical stops on the scope before he could get bore sighted on a target at 100 yds. He posted pictures and it is clear to see the is a very significant downward cant on the scope which caused some of us to question if it actually was a 20 MOA base. He pulled the scope and said the base is marked 1005-306-06SAV which is correct for the 20 MOA base. Has anyone else run into this problem?
