Rifle Scopes Badger rings question?

So a buddy of mine got some free badger rings with his S&B 5-25x56. Only thing is one is six screw and the other is 4 screw. Which one goes where? Does it even matter?

The bigger is intended to go forward for use with a simrad cap. Of course who has a simrad...
