Bag for dad

He's looking for a pack he can holster a shotgun so that it is behind his head when hunting/hiking etc. Is there anything out there such as this?

Most of the drag bags out there have shoulder straps for that.

Great looking packs I must say. Especually those Eberlestock packs. I've seen people with them but didn't ask.

I should of been more specific in my question. He actually has a Mossberg 590 with a pistol grip and fold over butt stock. Maybe there is a way to rig something.

With MOLLE attachment (easy to strap onto any ruck with straps/lanyards or other attachment points on the sides if he doesnt have a MOLLE backpack)

Just be aware that if bagging a pump action with empty chamber (action unlocked) in any of these without paying attention, there is a good chance of fully or partially pushing the action back due to the friction, releasing a shell from the mag.

If the folding stock does not fit, cut it open from the top and make it fit.
Pop-rivets,paracord etc is gtg.

With a molle scabbard he could use a backpack like this
I have a voodoo that I got on CTD on my pack, works pretty well.

Anybody used Mystery Ranch packs before? They are expensive but look solid.
