The ballistic tips really do not give much advantage. Well done OTMs are similar.
If we compare TMK77 and Scenar 77, they both have -+0.002 margin to 0.2 G7.
Litz mentioned that ballistic tips can easily cause more problems than solutions since any outwarda pointing surface differences near the tip will cause variations to BC.
The job should be done at the factory.
Unless you want the boost in terminal ballistics, I suggest you point them.
