I grabbed another 500, but read about them blowing up like the 147 eld-m's. Does anyone know the speed /twist limit for these things? I'm running a 28" 7.5 twist Bartlein with a 6.5 MAX behind them - should be ~3250...

I have had the 147 eld-m's blow up with an 8 twist around 3,000 fps.

I have not yet had the Barnes 145's to much more than 2,900 but they are working fine so far.

FYI Barnes told me they're good @ 305K rpms, risky above that
