I recently sent out my 700 action to be cerakoted and bolt fluted and am now in the process of getting out torqued back on the barrel (Krieger). I have the barrel in a viper vise and I'm using a PMA action wrench to get it buttoned back up. At hand tight the action sits at about the 11 o'clock position in reference to brake alignment. My question is do I need to torque up the action in increments to get it to line back up to the brake? I do have my ejector removed and am checking headspace with go/no go gauge.

    Thanks

You can always retime the brake.

Exactly as @spife7980 said. Torque barrel on, check with gauges. If it passes, retime the brake accordingly.
