Hiders,
For some reason, larger (size 43obj and up) "Butler Creek" flip-up caps seem to have a problem snapping shut and tight right out of the box. We recently had to return a dozen+ units that literally wouldn't stay shut before they were mounted on any scope. Our current return rate on these bigger objective flip up caps is 48%. I have no idea what is going on. But you should know about this.
FYI, Butler Creek is now owned by Bushnell...as is Millett...anybody have a term for the "opposite" of the Midas touch.....?? That's Bushnell....
Scott
