BC Question/Finding.

I've been fiddling around with loads on JBM just to see which would give what drop. I'm was looking up the G1 & G7 BCs of each bullet. Using the G7. I was comparing the 155gr scenar to some berger bullets. Here's the weird part. According to midwayusa.com the G1 BC of the 155gr scenar is supposedly .508 with the G7 unknown. Go to lapua's site and it's .460 resulting in a G7 BC of .230. Well comparing bergers 168 vld which from berger's site states a .473 G1 and a .242 G7 BC, the 168gr would have a higher BC. They're pretty close all the way when run at same velocity or 50fps difference. I just thought this was rather weird that midway has listed a different BC than lapua's site.

Going to eventually have to pic up brian litz "applied ballistics" to further my knowledge of it all.

Both those bullets are in Bryan's book with both G1BC and G7BC.

.238 G7 AND .462 G1 155GR LAPUA SCENAR
Applied Ballistics should be on every serious shooters shelf, it is very helpful

Added "Applied ballistics" to my cart for my next midway order. Just gotta muster up some cash now.
