Gunsmithing Bedding a RARTarget action in a Boyds Pro Varmint stock

So I'm going to glass bed the action of my

Ruger American Rimfire Target rifle to the Boyd's Pro Varmint stock. I've decided on the compound (Devcon 10110).
But what I'm not quite sure on, is the two removable bedding blocks that are part of the Ruger action. Should I bed them in the stock permanently? or should I make them so they can be removed?

That is the Boyd stock in the pictures. I already put pillars in it,

Now, that is a good question you have. I would bed the removable parts to the stock first leaving them removable. Then bed the action. But that is just me. Nobody at Rimfire Central has tried bedding this rifle yet to a Boyd's stock? Have you tried shooting it with just the pillar job? That is not a crack on the rear pillar job?

I was going to post over at RFC as well... I was thinking the same as you,Bed the two blocks first and make them removable then the action.
and yes I did notice a hairline crack on the rear pillar... there is not a lot of wood there so I'm thinking I need to build it up a bit with bedding compound.

Think about whether or not to use masking tape where appropriate on those removable parts. Sort of like bedding a recoil lug premise.
