We didn't have these when I was in the Army, we had "Combat Boots" "Jungle Boots" and "Jump Boots" made by Corcoran or Altama.

My employer issues us Danner Acadia's for duty use and Danner TFX tan for instructors at the range. Our uniform supplier is running way, way, way behind and the my tan TFX boots aren't holding up the way the Acadias do, sole is coming unglued in a few spots.

I ordered a pair of tan Belleville 790A boots on ebay out of pocket to replace my Danner TFX.

I can't find any reference to the 790A on Bellevilles website, just the 790ST which is steel toe, the 790V and the 790G.

Anyone know the difference between the 790V, 790G and most importantly, the 790A, since that's what I bought.

The ones I got on ebay were an unused "display model, new but no box" for 49.00, so im not really out much it they turn out to be something I can't use.
