I have a Bergara Premier LRP in 6.5 Cm and my barrel is almost done (2500-3000 rds) so that I have a few questions. First, anyone know the thread pitch of the action ?; second it has a cone nose bolt would this be an issue for rebarreling ? and finally, would a Rem/Age system work ?. Thank you all for any answer

Have the same exact rifle. Just picked up my rebarreled rifle from a local custom shop, Tumbleweeds Custom Rifles in Round Rock, TX. No problems duplicating the coned section of the barrel.....any competent smith should be able to get it done. I had a 27" Hawk Hill M24/40 contour installed with a SAAMI chamber. Took it to the range 2 days ago, seeing which ammo it would prefer. This was my last group using factory Hornady 140 ELD.

BTW, if you're interested....this would require no gunsmithing at all....it's my LRP barrel with only 586 rounds through it.

Thanks, I reached out to Dane Miller from DMR Rifles who'll do the rebarreling. He's familiar w/ the type of bolt and told me no issues there. I have a HawkHill M24/40 contour as well. Hadn't decided if I want 26 or 27 inches. Will change to an Area 419 brake.

The factory barrel is good, shot .5 - .75 moa essentially. Its a button rifling barrel. The Hawk Hill is a cut rifled barrel and shoots .25 - .5 moa. Even if I screw up, .75 moa.
