I was wondering if anyone out there might be able to give me a good starting weight for a ladder test (min-max). Ive tried to email Berger for some load data I'm not getting a response.

Here is what Im using
210 VLD hunting bullets
H4831SC
WLR primers
Federal Brass

Thank you for the help

Re: Berger 210 300 mag load data?!

I have had good luck with 69.5 grs. RL22 & the 210 Berger VLD in the 300 Win Mag. While not the fastest load around it was very accurate in both of the 300 Win Mags I had.

Dude: It's a 300WM. Try RE22.

If it won't shoot bugholes with RE22 you have a gun problem.

H-4831 works very well also...A little fast at that bullet weight, but shoot it will.

Re: Berger 210 300 mag load data?!

I queried Mr. Berger for the same load data. He sent back loads for VIHT N165, RE-22, and IMR 7828. I went with the RE-22. Ol' Walt suggested starting at 67.5 grains of RL-22 and working up to 71.1 grains. I found best accuaracy around 69 grains, but I'm still chasing ES. The 4831 was great with the 190's.
