Berger 7MM "hunting" match Vs Normal Match bullets

I ordered sum 7MM Bergers a while back and I just looked at the box.. they say "Hunting Match" on them, (180 Gr BTHP).. They look the same as any other Berger match grade bullet.

Any real difference? Performance lower than normal Match?

They are to be used only in hunting matches.

Jeff, I think that is just a new label to advertise that they will serve the purpose for hunting as well as a match bullet.

Jeff, they have a thicker jacket for over 3k fps use, and I THINK LOWER B.C.'s.........
If for target, I would not want to gice up the difference.......(Just ME)

The hunting vld has a thinner jacket, the match vld has the thick jacket to spin it out of the faster twist barrels. Wade
