I am trying to work up a load for a Bergara 6.5 creedmor using Berger hunting 140 gr or Berger Elite Hunter 156 gr. I am not having much success. Have to seat the bullet way back from the lands because of magazine length. Has anyone had any luck with either of these or what do you recommend for this rifle? Thanks.

I haven't used those particular bullets but I'm running Berger 140 Hybrids at 130k off the lands.
Not sure what your load development process is but jumping should be of no concern unless you somehow end up with an excessive amount of the actual bullet into the case but around mag length won't do that.

Also don't know what rifle and purpose you are going for. Bergara makes several kinds of rifles. Using hunting bullets I'm assuming you are working on a hunting load but what kind of ranges are you talking about? 1 MOA at 300 yards is still a vital shot. Wouldn't go past 300 with a 1 MOA load.
