Night Vision Best Budget Clip-on?

Never looked through them but Delta on here might could help you out with an Armasight brand. I only have experience with Gen 3 stuff that costs between 7-10K.

A dedicated NV scope can get you by cheaper and with a better picture. All that depending on what your needs are. WHen I'm going out at night I prefer my dedicated scope over my clip on. But the clip on has its advantages too.

What do you plan on using it for?

And I mean budget, so I am probably looking at Gen 2. What is the best bang for the buck out there?

What ranges are you looking at shooting, and what day scopes are you using? I have sold quite a few Gen2 HD CO-X's here and haven't gotten any negative feedback yet. Also, where in MO are you? You could always check one out before you buy.

Currently I am using a Millet TRS day scope. I plan to upgrade when the new Burris XTR II's become more available. As far as range is concerned probably no more than 200-300 yards.

I have 23 acres on my place and I raise (read feed) horses and am looking for something for coyotes.

What does the HD CO-X run?

I live about 30 miles north of Springfield, but I have friends in NWA we go visit from time to time.

I gotcha, my grandmother lived in Willard before she died.
It sounds like the CO-X would fit the bill nicely. The gen 2 HD tube has really high resolution and a signal to noise ratio that rivals some of the older gen 3 units, but I would strongly recommend investing in a good illuminator with it. So, keep that in mind when considering the cost. The CO-X with a Gen2 HD tube costs $2,175. I can upgrade the illuminator that comes with it to the IR850W for $100. Other good options for illuminators are the Streamlight Supertac IR, UNV T20IR, Streamlight TLR-1 IR, Torch, and a plethora of other options. As with anything I sell, if you are not happy with it, I'll buy it back.

By the way, I really appreciate you mentioning me. Thanks!

I don't want to take a sale away and it's not a clip on, but I've been using a pulsar DFA75 for awhile and it's been a real performer for the price. I have NV and thermal scoped rigs, but I wanted a detachable unit that was compact, in my budget and could use it with my day scope. The DFA met all of my requirements. I just couldn't afford the CO-X.

I had a DFA75 MK2 but I didn't find it to be the performer that shoots100 finds it. I ended up sending it back and am myself looking to fill that void with a "traditional" NV clip-on as in my experience digital just isn't "there" yet. I've been thinking about the CO-MR or possibly a PS22. I'm limited to Gen 2 units as my hobbies far out-price my small fixed income. Unfortunately I don't know of anywhere local where I can try out these units so my information comes from youtube and of course here...but some of that can get biased.

Never bought anything from delta4-3 but that kind of guarantee is great for the customer. VERY nice to see when dealing in higher cost gear. Well done my friend.
