Your best (consistency & adjustability) results will come from the annealing machines designed and sold for rifle brass annealing. Not a bad idea to go in with a friend for your purchase--it will sit unused between annealings. The machines are easy to set-up and are relatively trouble-free. I've never known anyone to have broken one.

I have a Bench Source Annealing machine. Best on the market IMHO.
