hey guys,

I've got a standard A2 cheap flash hider on my mid-length 16" M4. I'd like to swap it for a BCM comp.....noticed their are now two versions of this. Anyone run both and have anything today as to which is better all round?

I would just get both but BCM as we all know is does not have both of these items in stock.

Suggestions as to which one I should go with? they don't look all that different to me.

Thanks!

My can is a TBAC 30P-1 screw on with threads that uses a DMG adaptor to,convert the threads for use with a 5.56 barrel......threads down to 1/2 x 28. So, the comp just need to be able to be a screw on model that I just unscrew and put my adaptor on to use the can with it.

Y'all is one of the BCM models is the way to go? I'd love to also swap out the standard mil spec BCG that came with rifle to a Nickle boron model or a BCG model but as usual the mass buying hysteria has left nothing in stock and even if I could find it a $145 BCG now, costs 2-3x as much.

The BCM Models are due to size, one is the standard size, 1.0. The other is an elongated model, the 1.5, which is designed to to fitted to 14.5" barrels and pinned in place so as to ensure NFA compliance.

Both function the same.

The Battlecomps are excellent by the way, they really do reduce recoil and flash significantly.

If you want pure recoil reduction, I have found the Primary Weapons System brake to the the absolute stand out best product for this.
