Rifle Scopes BEST SCOPE FOR STAG AR15 UNDER $1500

Hello everyone,
just picked up a Stag AR15 and I've never had experience with "RED-DOT" TYPE scopes and was hoping to get some suggestions on a good scope under $1500. I'm mainly going to be shooting @ 100 Meters so a "fixed" scope would be fine... Thanks

ACOGs, ECLAN, Vortex Razor 1-4X, Nightforce 1-4X all come to mind. There are many choices, those were off the top of my head.

Trijicon accupoint tr24 1-4 is a great optic and can be had for about half your budget.

I have a aimpoint t1 on my 14.5 noveske and have no problems shooting minute of man groups with it at 100 yards. 5" or so. I love that sight. Really fast for close in shooting.

Are you looking for a red dot with zero magnification? I have two ARs with Aimpoint CompM3 red dots. They are a very robust design with easily adjustable brightness and are easy to see day or night. They come with flip open caps and are night vision compatible. GG&G makes a great raised picatinny quick release mount for these that also has a spare battery compartment. The battery seems to last forever; they rate it good for 5 years continuous use. I have had both dedicated on weapons for six years and they still work perfectly and I have yet to change the battery in either one. These can be purchased new for around $550.

If you are of the 'aim small, miss small' crowd, I would recommend a Leupold Mark 4 M3 side focus 10x fixed power. Its clear and rugged. I have two of these on ARs and I find them to work very well. These go for about $1500.
