Anyone know of a reasonably priced source for pelican rifle cases that would be willing to point me in the right direction. Picking up my baby from the gunsmith in a few weeks, and I'd like to bring her home in a nice comfy bed :)

Best source for pelican rifle cases?

I got both of mine from midways Black Friday sale. One last year. One the year before.

Btw-- they were pelican storm cases (3300). I like them better than the 1750's.

I have a 1750 from Midway and a storm 3300 from SportOptics. Both are great. I do favor the storm only because I shoot my AI more than my hunting rifle

I like the latches on the Storm case WAY better than those of a Pelican, plus it has 2 more latches which can't be a bad thing. I just bought the combo Storm/soft case from Larue... It's not exactly cheap but I sure like it a lot better than cutting foam that only really fits one rifle.

They also sell the 3200, I just got this one because my rifles are all pretty short & it was quite a bit cheaper. Good luck.

I'd get a shorter rifle. I use all soft cases. Although not cheap, easier to carry around at the range. Would only use a Pelican, if it were bouncing around in the back of a pickup in the desert or having to fly somewhere with me. Soft cases usually have plenty of interior pouches for magazines, tools, suppressors and cleaning stuff. Not to mention extra barrels.
