best way to dry fire you Tikka T3

Since the bolt is so easily dissemble here is a good trick to dry fire you Tikka T3 without arm to the firing pin
first dissemble your bolt assembly and take your firing pin out and you will notice that in your bolt there is a step that correspond to the step on your firing pin
just get some rubber O ring of the proper size (snug on the big part of the firing ping just ahead of the spring)
reassemble your bolt assembly and your are safe to dry fire all you want
just check after a while to see if the ) ring is OK
the O ring absorb the shock of the pin......

made a search on the topic and mixed result some say dry fire damages your firing pin and some say it doesn't
so not taking any chance and since it so easy to take this step I put some insurance on my side

ever tried to get a firing pin assembly
well someone has ad our club and he did not shout his tikka for 3 months
I dont know if it broke by dry fire or ?

i tried snap cap and the rubber compound in the primer pocket don't last to long it gets dented and serve no more the purpose of absorbing the firing pin ....
