Here's what the Serbu Super Shorty does at 10 yards w/7-1/2 Bird loads. Now thats a tight group,huh? Thats five rounds including the flyer.

Here in AZ. if you have a CCW you can carry it concealed as well.

looking for some military or LE loads #8 or 00. Gonna try some Hydra Shocks as well.

Great for house work, still loud enough and powerful enough to do the job, but won't bust your ear drums indoors.
For outdoor problems we have:
Baby Magnums

try giving the federal LE low recoil 00 buck a try, it shoots amazingly tight at 25 yds out of a 14 incher

00 buck, and slugs HURT when you pull the trigger! 3 rounds and I was done, painfull to shoot, and very painfull on the target! They are WAY cool though.... JPG

If I come up I will bring you a couple boxes of the Federal Low Recoil LE132 to try. It does indeed group VERY tight, almost like a Vang Comp. The only problem is that it can be a little difficult to find. I usually pick some up at the gun show but ammoman has some and I will probably get a case.

nice, I carry one of remingtons entry shotguns on our swat team. they are awsome. loaded with federal flight control 00 buck, the buck will not exit the wad untill after about 12 yards. we decided it would not be good to use that gun for entry work other than breaching.

It may very well be a complete waste of ammunition, but it's hands-down one of the most fun weapons I've ever fired, and there's not a Wal-Mart in the country that doesn't have a shelf of ammo for it. Insta-grin for anyone who doesn't drop it after the first shot.
Safety Harbor Firearms also sells a version like the Shorty, called the KEG-12.
For more fun, slugs are definitely the way to go...
