i bought a nitrex tr2 to try out on my rimfire. i was extreamly impressed from day one with the tracking and clarity and im not easily impressed by a optic. after about 2 months the scopes turret malfunctioned. i called and sent it back. yesterday i had a brand new scope no questions ask. 2.5 week turnaround this time of year is pretty good. to me i have no problem with a product breaking. what sets certain companies apart is how they deal with the problem. usually you dont get service like this in a less than 300 dollar optic.

Glad to see that they took care of you. Now let's make sure it continues to hold up. I agree that mechanical products are going to break down from time to time no matter what the cost, but if it continues to be a pattern, then you are not really any better off. I am sure you will have a solid product that will last. Let us know. I haven't heard much with regards to these scopes, so it is nice to hear something positive.

when did you send it in? i have not got mine back yet but i just sent it in 5 weeks ago and figure the holidays might have slowed them down a bit

Talked to them today and was told it is more like 8 wks not 5-6. The lady was very helpful. Phone # to check is 866-269-5194. They just need your zip code and last name.
