So... it looks like this thing clamps on a threaded muzzle similar to how a Badger Ordnance FTE brake does, yes? Does it require the same sort of stepped shoulder for installation, or does it clamp straight onto any 5/8x24 tpi threaded muzzle?

How obnoxious is it to the people around the shooter? Do the ports directing the blast 'down' mitigate what the spotter experiences, or does it make it worse i.e. blow dirt/grit in their face? I didn't see any of the videos showing it being used in a dusty environment...?

Ernie Biship shot 5.5" group 1000 yds. The pistol is a 338 Lapua Mag IMP. It only ways 10.5 lb shooting 300gr bullet with 100 gr Retumbo.
