Re: Bighorn, Beanland 6SLR
Took it to the range today. Very encouraging results.
Loaded up 107SMK's and 105 Hybrids. 43, 43.5, 44/4831sc, CCI BR2. The SMK's were fired from new brass, Hybrids from fired brass. Loaded the SMK's with the idea of using them to fire-form. The SMK's shot slighly better. Been kind of focus on the Hybrids, maybe the 107SMK's will be the load? The 44 grain load produced the tightest groups/lowest SD's on both. Also loaded 6 115VLD's,
[email protected] and 44. (Berger sent me a few sample, what the heck might as well shoot them). The 43.5 were almost all touching, 2982fps. Have some Dtacs coming, guessing will see similar velocity as the 115vld's. Will mess with the seating depth on the Hybrids and go up in charge to 44.5 and 45.
