Bighorn Origin Bolt Handle Question

Hello All,

Maybe over thinking this but looking for your thoughts...

The farthest my bolt handle goes down on my bighorn origin is this far... is that normal?

Not normal.

Try installing a trigger to see if it changes anything.

They will fix it if it needs fixing. They have the best CS in the industry.

Make sure the rear of the bolt is in the proper position. It can spin so maybe it is turned some. There is a ramp and at the top of the ramp there is a depression it sort of locks into.

Could also be debris in the front action screw hole.

Thank you all for the quick response.

I actually took the approach of checking for debris or bind again and then..... I found my problem. Stupid me.... I placed one of the long rail screws up front where it was suppose to be one of the shorter ones. Once I moved the short ones to the front of the rails and the long ones to the back the handle dropped all the way.

of course I find it seconds after posting this...
