Building a new bolt gun in 308. I don’t have A 308 at the moment and it’s a box I feel I need to check. Mostly will be used for shooting steel and paper. I have a new bighorn origin action, a proof SS 24inch savage small shank prefit barrel, NSS barrel nut, triggertech special trigger, and probably going to get a NF Atacr 4-16x42 or mk5hd 3-18. I haven’t decided on a stock yet. I keep going round and round about it. My comp gun has a foundation, my tikka proof carbon hunting rifle has krg bravo. I have a McMillan game hunter on my 257 mkV weatherby. So I have experience with various stocks. I’m leaning towards a hinged BDL. I really liked to look of the mesa precision altitude stock. Any issues with a bighorn origin feeding from a BDL internal mag like a Hawkins oberndorf? Zermatt website says the origin with works with Remington BDL. Can someone confirm this? TIA
