Bipod stock mount options

New member here, I've been lurking and searching for a while now. Anyway, I've never owned a centerfire rifle before and am thinking its about time I do. I've got several handguns, shottys, AR's and several .22 rifles, and really enjoy shooting the 22's for groups.

Anyway, think I've decided on a 700 AAC-SD 308 and a Manners T3 or T4 stock with the mini chassis. Looking through the options list on Manners site and trying to decide which boxes to check off. I'm pretty sure I want the QD cups on the left side of the stock to mount the sling. I know I'll want to mount a bipod, prob Harris but am stuck at getting the sling swivel studs or a rail section on the forend for the bipod mount.

Would like to hear your guys suggestions and input. I just don't want to drop the coin and wait on the Manners and then wish I had done something differently after its in my hands or running it for a while.

Get whatever your other rifles have so the bipod you buy will work on more than just one rifle.

I got a badger rail on my manners T2A, which mounts my atlas bipod.

It's a great combo. That said, if you're dead set on going the harris route, I'd just get a sling swivel stud in the front.

Im not set on any bipod, actually never had one, so they are new to me. I have the slings on my AR's with the QD mounts and really like that setup and am pretty sure having QD cups on the left side of the forearm and buttstock would be ideal for carrying a bolt action rifle so the bolt or mag is not sticking in my back.

Im just debating / trying to research and decide if I'd want to get the sling studs on the bottom of the stock if I won't use them for a sling anyways. Or maybe get 2 of the QD cups in the normal sling stud locations on the bottom of the stock and use the sling stuf inserts in the QD cups if I ever wanted them there. And maybe a single sling stud up on the tip of the forearm for a bipod.

I know that not having normal sling studs (or the ability to have them ie. QD cups with stud inserts) on the bottom of the stock may reduce my chance of selling the stock down the road should I decide to do that for some reason.
