After my latest match, I realize I need a few different bipod sizes. I run Harris brms bipods on a Manners with a simple sling stud.

What is the easiest system to convert, at home, to a quick change bipod setup?

I've seen the new lo-pro device from Badger but am not quite sure what it is....says it's for MLOK & RACS(?!) My local GS has a Blackhawk Picatinney rail that attaches to sling swivel stud for $32 but is there another part, if not Badget lo-pro, I can get for the bipod side?

    Thanks!

    Badger Low Profile Harris Mount:

It replaces the factory parts that are used to attach it to a sling swivel stud, and the plate that stabilizes it, and the parts that allow it the swivel.
There are three options that vary in what the attach to. Picatiny, MLOK or RACS.
If you have a rifle with a stud, buy a pic rail section:

You may use an adaptor like the blackhawk thing, but its not near as strong.

    Thanks Triad !
So it looks from the video that the clamp, at least for the Picatinney version, is built into the Badger part. This makes things a lot easier! The photos of the MLOK and RACS pieces were confusing me.

Before I shifted to Atlas bipods with AD-170 mounts, I used the A.R.M.S. mount. It replaces the clamp piece that attaches to the sling swivel stud with a solid block and requires you to install a Picatinny rail on your forend (I have an Anschutz rail in my forend with a BT28 AFAR rail), but it is quite a solid mount. Probably only adds about 1/2" to the bipod height.

Ok, I recently got an MPA chassis that alteady has a Pic rail up front, so I ordered 2 of these Lo-Pro Badger mounts from Triad. Nice pieces!

However, now I realize these are not QD. I needed something so I could quickly and easily move my bipods along the underside of the chassis and swap bipods quickly during a match.

Did I order the wrong thing? Or is there a way to make these QD? Shit!

earthquake, use this GG&G pic rail to stud QC bipod adaptor: http://www.opticsplanet.com/gg-g-quick-detach-harris-bipod-adapter.html

It is very solid and the QC is adjustable for slight variations in pic rails. I have been using these for years through all kinds of match abuse and switching between many rifles, all calibers. It adds a mere 3/8" in height and is worth every penny. I mention these regularly here and am frankly surprised that more people don't use them. It's a solid accessory.

I dont think badger offers a quick disconnect type. Thats what pushed me away from them and towards the american defense ad-bpp2. I snagged it on their july 4th sale so I havent had a chance to use it yet in actual shooting but I have installed and it goes onto the harris just as easy as the badger will in the same manner. Just unscrew the harris stuff and screw on this one. I havent even used it yet and Im already ordering rails to convert my old sling stud stuff to rails to use this quick disconnect its so nice.
