Bipods - worth the extra money?

I have Harris, Atlas and Accu-Tac bipods. I prefer Accu-Tac over the other two.

Bipods are personal choice and depending on application
F Class Phoenix is my choice
Prone or bench groomed range bolt action I like Atlas or Harris
Large rifle field I like Accu Tac
Field general use I like Atlas
AR I like GGxG

I follow my own path and make offbeat selections. This bipod is my choice, and is a standard part of my AR setup. It is available in other lengths, as well. Because I needed several, I kept my choices to ones that cost well below three figures. Because this mount keeps the bottom of the forend clear, it permits the rifle to perform as a bag rider, too.

Good luck. I've only seen 1, and it was crap. UTG isn't exactly known for great QC though, so there's a chance a few good ones slipped through.

I like the MDT Grnd pod. Probably not as tough as others for competition use, but for zeroing/load development and hunting use, its been good.

I suck at consistently loading the bipod and the lack of give in the grnd pod legs seems to help
