I just got off the phone with Christine. Leah is in a bit of a penalty box for the last couple of days for acting up on the school bus, so there are 35 cards sitting unopened. She said they'll probably get them tonight or tomorrow, but she wanted Leah to feel a little sting for whatever it was she did on the bus.
In other news, Matthew - Leah's step dad - State Trooper - totaled his car the other night chasing one that wouldn't stop for a tail light. Just when he was going to turn him with his bumper the jerk locked up his brakes and Matt's car got shoved under the mini-van. Driver jumped out and witnesses saw what appeared to be a gun in his hand. Fled through some woods and into a low rent neighborhood and disappeared. Van registered to a dead person.

Just glad he didnt head back to the trooper’s car and try to get him while stunned from the hit.

As for Leah, kids will be kids (I had a lot of detentions as a kid).

Damn good to hear Dad is ok after that pursuit. I could toss in a local tragedy, but I'm not gonna cuz it really sucks. And this isn't the thread for it as well. AND it's the Holidays.....

They opened a few more cards last night.
Jeremy. Leah's dad, was there, but Matthew was working.
Jeremy and Christine do a very good job of co-parenting and getting along together for Leah's well being.

I think Leah knows just exactly how to push Mom's buttons. What a hand full!!
Maybe a Firm push down to the pond with a bucket full of rocks? and a wrist rocket is in order.
Both should learn about this lesson in Geography, Cartography, pronunciation and reading and where everyone is that gives a shit.
