Anyone have any suggestions on how to make the lettering stand out black against a tan painted AR? I've thought about squeezing some elmers glue in the lettering and spraying over then scraping the glue out of the letters with a razor.

If anyone else has a better method please advise. Thanks.

Re: Black lettering on tan AR?

Paint over the entire weapon with the color of your choice. After the paint has cured, take a toothpick, or needle and dip it into some black paint. Carefully place the tip of the pin/toothpick into the recessed lettering and allow it to flow into the letter or number. if any paint overflows, use a piece of paper to carefully dab it up. Use gentle pressure and a circular motion, and you will lift all the black paint off the surface. If need be, use a bit of paint thinner to do final cleanup, but be careful not to take the tan off the surface.
