i dont see why it wouldnt, it has the elastic bands on the side, i have the blackhawk cutaway vest and bought a couple of mag pouches for the 7.62 mag and they work for holding extra mags for my bolt gun.

no way it will be too tight, find a normal molle platform vest and just buy a couple 7.62/.308 mag pouches and whatever else you want to put on it

there is a standard omega vest platform. if you like that vest, try this.....

I emailed BLACKHAWK they said it would hold one m-14 mag per pouch.Molle setup is expensive

How many mags do you want to carry. Plus what are you going to be using it for? Do you want it to have just mags or what? There are a lot of different styles of vests on the market.

Good vest
but if you havent worn one before, just know
that when prone, the shoulders bunch up as the vest rides up.
I used the old school ver, the orignal OMEGA type at work for a few years. Then we moved to the 5.11 MOLLE and I gave that up for an Eagle Rhod. chesty.
